Mio Adilman

Mio Adilman is an award-winning filmmaker, actor, TV & radio host. Currently he produces long-format documentary audio podcasts for the Pacific Content Company. Prior to that he produced television programs at Zoomer Media (The Zoomer with Denise Donlon and Conrad Black, Healing Yoga).

For five years, his weekly column The Download Down-Lo, appeared on CBC Radio’s Q.  At the same time, Mio guest hosted other shows like DNTO and As It Happens. 

Previously, Mio field directed over 200 segments for CBC TV’s local lifestyle program Living in Toronto. 

His 15-minute comedic short film Unlocked played at film festivals across Canada and the U.S. after premiering at TIFF. It then aired on Bravo! and CBC TV. As an actor, Mio is best known for his recurring role as Dennis on The Trailer Park Boys. Mio first came to prominence co-hosting CBC TV’s late night underground showcase ZeD, and then high school quiz show Smart Ask.

He has many other screenwriting, producing, acting and broadcast credits.
